My Trip To Bolivia with HOPE worldwide's Volunteer Corps Program
I had the opportunity to go to Bolivia this summer with HOPE worldwide's (HWW) Volunteer Corps Program. The Volunteer Corps Program is an opportunity to be stretched beyond your comfort zone, and God will meet you there. Bolivia remains the most materially poor country in South America. Although there have been some improvements in the vital areas of health and education, the statistics about Bolivia’s material poverty and its crippling effect on its people are still very sobering. During the HWW Volunteer Corps, we engaged together in a variety of initiatives that provided support and empowered vulnerable children and families. We participated in helping with existing sustainable community outreach programs, such as creating and providing reading activities for materially disadvantaged children within inner-city preschools, and hosted a monthly Park Day for families and orphans. This year we had a garden project refurbishing the greenhouse for crop production for the local school program. When you have little resources, little time, and need to rebuild something, it can be challenging. There's nothing like the heart of a HWW Volunteer that is willing to go and simply be available to provide a presence for the kids and do whatever task is needed. The good news is there are ways you can take your resources and make them work. We had the heart and the trust that we could get done what was in our control and believed God would be pleased. I learned in my time in Bolivia that it's about being a learner of the people and their culture. I was not there to fix or rescue anyone but to love and be loved. - John, Peninsula Fellowship Group |

Thank You for Your Tithe/Donation To Our Fellowship
We wanted to thank all of you who generously gave to our fellowship to help us advance the gospel in the Bay Area. In July, our average weekly donation was $3396. We continue to pray that God will move tremendously and use these funds to help many have a relationship with God. If you want to donate or tithe to our fellowship, click the button below. We appreciate any and all donations and hope God converts them into souls who have decided to follow Jesus. 2 Corinthians 9:6-8 Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work in Jesus Christ. For more infomation visit:
