We Wish You And Your Loved Ones A Happy Thanksgiving!
Thanksgiving is a day full of traditions and emotions, both good and bad, and is a unique and different kind of day for each of us. We wanted to let you know that no matter what Thanksgiving means to you, not only in general but also specifically this year, we hope you have some time today to reflect on all of the blessings of the year and all of the ways you have felt loved by God. We also hope that this specific Thanksgiving you have an opportunity as you come and go to see those who often are forgotten in our society, like Jesus saw like the Samaritan woman, Zacchaeus, the leper, the widow and so many more. We are thankful that you take time out of your day to connect with us through this newsletter, and we hope you have enjoyed our content over the year. We hope to continue to provide interesting articles and content that you will find helpful and encouraging to read. We wish you and your loved ones a Happy Thanksgiving. Psalm 107:8-9 Let them praise the Lord for his great love and for the wonderful things he has done for them. For he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things. |
Our Season Of Giving Kick-Off Event Was A Huge Success!
On Saturday, November 16th, HOPE worldwide Bay Area partnered the SF Bay Fellowhsip and with the East Bay Toishan Association to help clean and patrol the streets of Oakland Chinatown. It was a beautiful day of service and many HOPE volunteers showed up to walk and clean the area between Wilma Chan Park and Chinatown in Oakland. We even got our picture in the Chinatown press. Thank you for all that served and we look forward to the other service events happening in December. Please consider signing up by clicking on the button below. We have two other events to put on your radar. First, we are joining forces again with City Hope on December 14th to serve the unhoused population in the Tenderloin District of San Francisco. Then on December 21st we're excited to work with City Team to donate and wrap presents for kids around the Bay Area. Finally, we are collaborating with Second Harvest once again for a food distribution on December 21st in San Jose. Christmas Service & BanquetSaturday, December 7, 2024 We are excited to celebrate Christmas with our annual All Fellowship Christmas Service. We have had a great response from the evites that have gone out and are excited to celebrate with you all! Psalm 133:1 Oh, how wonderful, how pleasing it is when God's people all come together as one! On Saturday, December 7, we will meet in the evening at the South San Francisco Conference Center for an evening Christmas Service and an All Fellowship dinner and dance party! We will have a full dinner, a dessert bar, and a Christmas Service. Then, after service and dinner, we have a DJ so we can fellowship and dance the night away! Doors open at 5:30 PM Service starts at 6:00 PM This is a closed event, meaning you need to RSVP to be able to attend the event. The space holds a certain amount of people and we are 2/3 full. We need to know how many people are coming before the event since dinner is being served and will need to close the event once we have received all of the allowable RSVP's. So, all evites have gone out and we need all RSVP's in early to let the venue know of our final food selections so they can have enough food. Please check your email for the evite. We will do what we can to ensure all who want to attend can come, but we expect to fill up, so RSVP as soon as possible. If you did not receive an email and would like to attend, please email community@sfbayfellowship.com. If you want to dress up, that would be great, or if you want to come dressed in your Christmas outfits, that would be fun too, or if you wish just to come as you are, that is awesome..... we are just glad you are joining us to celebrate Christmas next weekend! Finally, we will be collecting new, unused warm socks to donate for distribution to our unhoused neighbors in both the East Bay and the West Bay. Please bring a sock donation if you can. We will have a place to drop them off in the venue. We look forward to this special Christmas Service and Banquet and hope you can join us for this festive and fun event! |

Join Us In At One Of Our Remaining Events In 2024!
We have many things happening here at the SF Bay Fellowship as we close out 2024! Next weekend, we will meet around the Bay Area and we hope you can come. We will have services around the Bay Area and encourage you to see our event page on our website for more specific information. We wanted to acknowledge that the election results that happened a couple of weeks ago have been difficult for many of us in our fellowshipof believers and some of us are continuing our discussions of what does that mean for us next year. If you would like someone to speak with, please reach out to any one of our fellowship groups or you can contact our Justice and Equity Ministry by sending an email to justice@sfbayfellowship.com. More rain is coming our way tomorrow. Be careful and stay safe out there. Enjoy the time off that you may have this week! 1 Chron 16:34 Oh give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; for His steadfast love endures forever! For more infomation visit:
