2024 Missions Contribution Is Now Accepting Donations
This year the SF Bay Fellowship has decided to focus on five sister churches to donate to for our Missions Contribution. Those churches are, our sister church in Angola, Bangkok Thailand, Philippines, RevivEE (Eastern Europe) and Uruguay. If you were at Midweek last week, we gave a brief overview of each of the churches and how we are personally connected to them and their financial needs. If you missed Midweek and are interested, please reach out to your fellowship group leader for the link to the recording. We hope to include more details in the newsletter next week. If you want to participate and donate, go to our website, go to the Give page, and click on the drop-down menu where it says General Fund. There, you will see all five churches listed and a Missions-General account. This Missions-General account is for those of us who may not have a preference and want to donate. All of the funds in the Missions-General account will be distributed amongst one or more of the five sister churches that were selected this year. We look forward to seeing how God will move in this Missions Contribution. We hope that all of us will join in prayer this month for God to move powerfully and help us raise money for these sister churches. We also pray that our brothers and sisters around the world feel the love of God and the love of their family around the world, who has them in our prayers. For more infomation visit:

Congratulations Madison!
Join us in congratulating Madison, who will graduate from Stanford University on June 15th, 2024, with a Master of Science in Community Health and Prevention Research. After playing lacrosse for John Hopkins University in Baltimore, Madison graduated with her bachelor's degree and came to Stanford to use her final year of eligibility and to study for her Master's degree. The Stanford women advanced to the NCAA women's lacrosse tournament but were defeated by the University of Denver (whom Madison's sister, Trinity, plays for). Madison's parents, James and Rebecca, live in Luanda, Angola, where James serves as a Foreign Service Officer with the U.S. State Department. After graduation, Madison will travel to Denver to finish her thesis. We in the Palo Alto Fellowship Group have been blessed to have her in our group for these past ten months. She is a bright light for the Kingdom, and we are grateful that we are a part of her journey. We will miss her and wish her all the best as she moves into the next chapter of her life. - Jay, Palo Alto Fellowship Group |

Good News From Salote About Her Trip To Reno
In late May, I had the great opportunity to travel to Reno with my cousin and my niece to watch my niece compete in a basketball tournament at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center. She did great at the tournament, and they placed third in their category! I am so proud of her. We were also able to worship with our sister church in Reno, Nevada. We got to meet Kai and BJ, who lead the church up there. They are doing a lot of cool stuff, like Soul Food Saturdays with Kai and BJ, road trips to Lake Tahoe together, and congregational potlucks. The church there passes our different newsletters, and I saw one for parenting, another for singles, and one just for women. Each has Bible studies and devotionals that one could do sometime throughout the week to help add to one's faith. Finally, we also met folks who used to live in the Bay Area but have moved to Reno and are now part of the fellowship there, which was really cool to see. So, if you ever travel to Reno, you should visit our family in the Reno church. It was really cool to meet disciples in Reno, and it was especially great to spend time with my cousin and her daughter, my niece. - Salote, Peninsula Fellowship Group |
