2024 INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY ANNOUNCEMENT2024 INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY ANNOUNCEMENT FROM WomenToday.International, a resource provided by the Women’s Service Team of the International Churches of Christ. ___________________________________________________________________ International Women’s Day will be celebrated all across the world on March 1-10, 2024. We are thrilled to announce the theme for the 2024 International Women's Day celebration for our global fellowship: "Together We Thrive!” This theme is inspired by Ephesians 4:16. And for all our Spanish-speaking ministries across our fellowship we are excited to use the theme, “Juntas Prosperamos!” Efesios 4:16 This powerful theme emphasizes the unity and collaboration among women from all walks of life, recognizing the strength that arises when we work together in faith and love. In the spirit of Ephesians 4:16, which states, “From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work,” our theme reminds us that when we come together, we can achieve remarkable things and further God's mission on Earth. As we prepare for this special day, a Quiet Time series is being created for you that will help to connect us to God and one another! This QT series will be available after the beginning of the year for anyone interested. Imagine women throughout our sisterhood waking up in their homes all around the world and reading these same scriptures together as we get ready for our daily life and the IWD celebrations. It will be like one big virtual hug to and from one another throughout our entire sisterhood. Let us reflect on just how special it is to be in a fellowship that represents a diversity of talents, gifts, and abilities from sisters all over the world. Through prayer, fasting, fellowship, and the shared wisdom of women within our Christian community, we will explore how our unity and collaboration can empower us to thrive, both spiritually and in our daily lives. Join us in celebrating International Women's Day 2024 as we come together under the banner of "Together We Thrive,” embracing the principles of Ephesians 4:16 and igniting a powerful movement of love, faith, and unity. Together, we will shine as a beacon of hope and inspiration for women everywhere, reminding all whom we reach that they too can thrive in the arms of God’s family through His power.

One Heart Marriage RetreatOur sister church in Sacramento (Sac Metro Church) has invited our married couples to join them for their Marriage Retreat in April! April 6-7, 2024 Join us as we each enjoy this incredible weekend getaway to recharge, reconnect, and realign our marriage with God and your spiritual family. The retreat is FREE!! The only cost is the hotel room and expenses. The event will be at the Hyatt Regency Sonoma Hotel. Room reservations will be handled through the hotel via a booking link emailed to you after you register for the event. They have a room reservation contract with the Hyatt Regency Sonoma Hotel for discounted room rates starting at $229 tax, a $35 resort fee, and a $9 discounted parking fee that will be charged at the end of your stay. You will be emailed all the details for the retreat as we get closer to the event date, but here are some details we can share now: Our very own Brock and Anne will be the guest speakers, and Ken and Lina from Sac Metro Church will also be speaking. Our Seasoned Singles Ministry Had A Great Time At The MJ Musical!On February 24th, some of our Seasoned Singles had an incredible time at the Orpheum Theater, where they went to watch The MJ Musical. Initially, we were still determining how many would attend, but our numbers gradually increased from 4 to 8. Something amazing happened when we were given six additional seat tickets for free!! There had been some mix-up with the vendors, and we called to try to straighten it out. They said we could keep the tickets! This opened up more space for other singles to join the fun. More people had wanted to come, but the ticket purchase deadline had already passed. However, because God blessed us with the extra tickets, more of us could go, and the extra blessing was that the additional tickets were right behind our original seating area, so we were all able to sit together for the show. We want to express our gratitude to God for bringing us all together on this unforgettable night! Sign Up for RevivEE 5.0!Entire countries need to hear the gospel! We need you! We are putting together our fifth multi-national, multi-generational mission team to come to Eastern Europe for 10 months. RevivEE 5.0 will launch on September 1, 2024 and will finish on July 1, 2025. Who should sign up? We are looking for good-hearted, faithful disciples who have a heart to be trained and a desire to spend 10 months letting God use them to change a nation for eternity. Calebs: Empty nesters or mature disciples who are retired, and willing to come and share their wisdom and experience with an Eastern European nation, and help us shepherd the young missionaries. Globe changers: Take a year off from school, take a gap year, or take a year break from your career. Come spend 10 months overseas and get training that will benefit you for the rest of your life! Not sure if the full-time ministry is for you? This is the perfect setting to explore this calling! In our fellowship we call this a “One Year Challenge” – here we call you “Globe Changers” because in 10 months, you can change a corner of the globe! You will help us turn around a church, or plant a church, and you will make friends from all over the world. You will leave behind a legacy that will be remembered with gratitude for generations to come. We are now in Bucharest Romania, where we joined a church of 38 members. As we kick off the new year, we have over 50 people studying the Bible! We are not sure of the destination of 5.0 at this hour, but we know wherever God takes us, we will do our best to reflect Christ and impact eternity. |

Join Us Next Weekend, But Remember To Change Your Clocks!March is here! Can you believe it? Our fellowship groups will meet in person around the Bay Area next weekend for Sunday Church Services. We would love to see you at one of our services. If you have any questions, you can email us at community@sfbayfellowship.com. But please remember that DAYLIGHT SAVINGS begins next weekend on Sunday, so change your clocks to be on time. We will continue our midweek classes for our Winter Midweek Class Series this week. Please visit our event page on our website for additional information and Zoom links. Please remember that our All Fellowship Church Service is on March 24th this month (in the East Bay at Cal State East Bay) and not on March 31st due to Easter Sunday being March 31st. Also, space is still available if you are interested in going on the next DT Travel Cruise to Hawaii with Kyle and Kristi Spears as spiritual directors (helping to facilitate and lead devotionals). The Norwegian Cruise Line will depart from Honolulu on Saturday, September 21st, 2024, on a 7-night trip visiting Honolulu, Kahului, Hilo, Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, and Nawiliwili.
