We are having a church picnic!
Bring chairs, outdoor games, and food (charcole barbecues will be available) and plan to spend the day with family and friends.
Service begins at 10:30 AM
Location is at Huddart Park in Woodside. (Click here for address on Google Maps)
Give yourself plenty of time as the location is a little remote. Once you get inside the park, there will be kind folks to help you find parking and show you where to go.
We have the picnic space reserved all day. There are tables and benches available, but feel free to bring lawn chairs if you would like. There is a volleyball court, hiking trails, play structure for the kids, and we will have music, games & prizes, and fun for all!
We are honored to have Chester and Sirikit Umaguing join us as they make their way to lead the church in Bangkok, Thailand! Chester will be speaking on "Called by God - Our God has a vision and dream for all that are called by his name. What is your calling?"
This will be a perfect preparation as many of us prepare to attend the World Discipleship Conference in Orlando, FL the following week either in person or virtually. You are enthusiastically invited to join us as we are encouraged by this inspiring couple.

Chester and Kit (Sirikit) Umaguing live in the beautiful city of Colorado Springs, USA. They have been disciples for over 35 years and married for 30 years. Chester was born, raised and converted (1986) in San Diego where he also earned his degree in Business Administration and worked for General Dynamics Space Systems Division. He is finishing his masters in the Bible. Kit has a degree in B.S. Psychology (cum laude) and later on pursued her Masters in Family Life and Child Development. She was born and raised in the Philippines but became a disciple (1988) in New York Church of Christ. They have two children, Joshua (28 years old) and Alexa (23 years old).
Chester and Kit were part of the original (28) mission team planting in Manila, Philippines in 1989. They were also part of at least 6 more church plantings including one in the Middle East. While they’ve served for almost 25 years in the full time ministry, they had a period of 10 years out of the ministry and worked in real estate and had their own restaurant business. They are known for their deep love and unwavering faith in God, and their sacrificial hearts to serve people. They love doing the ministry through relationships. They are also well known for their love and great vision for Asia through the years.
Recently, they have served as church leaders for the Colorado Springs Christian Church (8 years), served as Regional Family Chairs, Global Missions Society Chair and Women’s Service team (3 years) and HOPE Board of Directors (2020-present)
Chester loves the outdoors fly fishing and bow hunting while Kit loves taking care of plants, doing crafts and cooking for people. Both love to travel to learn and experience different cultures.
Their next calling in this later season of life is to oversee the work in Bangkok, Thailand.
